How Big are WHU

Using the unwritten formula involving history, trophies, attendance and fan base. We are clearly not as big as Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool .... What about Newcastle? or Leeds? or Villa?
Even though Forest and Derby have won more we have to be bigger than them. Same with Wolves, Preston etc who won loads ages ago.

Forest and Derby are just regional clubs who had some genius manager that helped them punch way above their weight...
There's no way that either of those clubs has as many fans as us...
It's hard to judge but I'd say that we're probably around the 10th-12th biggest club in the country...
Our modest trophy cabinet lets us down a bit but we do have a major European trophy in there which not a lot of English clubs have so that should score us a fair few points...

Easily bigger then Man City and Chelsea, imagine how big would would be with the money they have had. Who would have thought Southampton would fill up there ground after leaving the Dell.
Ask yourself how many fans do you know that never or rarely go to games?

We were on equal standing with Chelsea before their dough.
Newcastle. Villa and Leeds all bigger.
I think its how the oppo view you as a club. Let's be honest most don't rate us a 'big club'..or a game they particulary look forward too. Going on trophies is a slight misnomer as Blackburn have won the league title in modern times..but I'll be fucked if there a bigger club.

Anytime we get to Wembley or the Millenium Stadium we sell out 50k fans and could probably double that. easily.
We have been selling out homes matches for years at 35k fans.
We can be a massive club in England easily top eight. However in the past 10 years we`ve been relegated twice!
Consolidation in the Premiership and go for the cups - no Europa League though.
As big as Spurs, Everton, Villa maybe Newcastle?
Bigger than Southampton.
Lets be a first class club on and off the field like Arsenal are. Not a moaning poncey club like the Spuds.
Lets win a fucking trophy! That is what we need.

In the last 2 decades Chelsea have been in Eruope almost every season and won loads of silverwear, and filled their ground which at one time dwarfed ours.
I hate Chelsea but they've always been a bigger club than us, at least in my living memory.

8th biggest in England. 25th in Europe. Not far off the Premier League of Europe as things stand. Next few years could be quite interesting.

Chelsea have grown bigger than us since the late-90s...
Before then, we were about the same size (but with more loyal/better support)...

I'd say we're much bigger than Leeds now! They just get off 20k attendances. I'd put us on a pa with Villa and just below Newcastle, Spurs and Everton. Up until Harding putting cash int Chelsea early 90's, we had won more trophies and much better attendances. I recall Chelsea having an average attendance of 13k in 82

we're as big as our succession of shit owners allowed us to be. if it had anything to do with the fans we'd now be bigger than Chelsea, Arsenal and the Scum. Cearns, Brown, Warner, etc had another agenda
